Waivers
Waiver Fields, Sections, and Acknowledgements
Know which signer fields are part of the public signing flow and how sections and acknowledgements fit into the waiver body.
WaiverChaser combines editable waiver text with a standardized public signing form.
Public signer fields
The current signing flow centers on a standard field set that includes:
- first name
- last name
- date of birth
- phone
- emergency contact name
- emergency contact phone
Some fields are always required, and some can be conditionally emphasized depending on the rendered waiver content.
Waiver sections
The waiver body is freeform text in the editor, but the built-in templates give you a structured starting point with headings that match the business type.
Acknowledgements
If the waiver body contains checklist-style acknowledgement items, the signer must check them before submitting.
This is why it is important to preview the waiver as a signer would see it after editing.
Signing fields in the body
The rich editor can also insert specific signing elements into the waiver content, such as signature or initials blocks that are validated during submission.
