Signing Experience

Signing for a Minor / Child

See how the signing flow changes when a waiver allows a guardian to sign on behalf of a child, including the additional fields and receipt details.

If the waiver allows minors, the signing page gives the signer a choice between Myself and A minor / child.

What changes in guardian mode

When the signer chooses guardian mode:

  • the signer becomes the guardian
  • the form adds a child information section
  • at least one minor entry is required
  • each child needs a first name and valid under-18 date of birth

Typical flow

  1. Open the link
  2. Choose A minor / child
  3. Complete guardian details
  4. Add the child or children
  5. Review acknowledgements
  6. Sign and submit

Good business practice

Before sharing a minors-enabled waiver, test the guardian flow yourself with a staging or internal submission so you can confirm the form wording matches your real process.
