Getting Started
Create Your First Waiver
Create a waiver from a template, review the starter copy, enable minors if needed, and publish the first live version.
Waiver creation starts with a template choice and then moves into the waiver editor, where you can review the content and publish a new version.
Step 1: Start a new waiver
Go to Waivers → Create Waiver.
- Choose a template from the dropdown
- Enter the waiver name
- Create the waiver
After creation, WaiverChaser sends you straight to the waiver editor.
Step 2: Review the waiver editor
In the editor you can:
- update the waiver title
- edit the waiver body
- insert field tokens and signing fields through the rich editor tools
- turn on Allow minor participants
The editor saves as a new version rather than editing the published version in place.
Step 3: Publish by saving a version
Click Save as New Version to publish the current content.
That is the point where the waiver becomes shareable from the waiver list and details pages.
Template notes
- Templates now include starter language, not just empty headings.
- The legal disclaimer remains at the top of each starter template.
- Camp and school-oriented templates default to minors enabled.
