Waivers
Editing and Publishing a Waiver
Use the waiver editor to update body text, insert signing elements, and publish a new version that signers will see immediately.
After creating a waiver, you land in the waiver editor. This is where you review the starter language and publish the live version.
What you can edit
The editor lets you change:
- the waiver title
- the waiver body
- inserted field tokens
- inserted signing fields
- the minors toggle
Publishing behavior
The primary action is Save as New Version.
That means:
- edits are published as a new version
- the waiver record keeps version history
- a published waiver can then be shared
Good practice before saving
- Verify the title
- Read the starter copy top to bottom
- Remove sections that do not fit your business
- Add or review acknowledgements and any field references in the body
- Confirm the minors setting
What happens next
- Learn the minors toggle in Adding Minors / Children
- Move into distribution with Share by Public Link
