Branding Order and Fallbacks
Understand how WaiverChaser decides which name, logo, and brand color to show when a location is selected or left generic.
WaiverChaser uses a clear fallback order when deciding what branding to show on public signing pages, PDFs, and receipt-related surfaces.
Current branding order
The app documents this order directly on the Settings > Branding page:
- Location branding if set
- Organization branding from Settings > Branding
What this means in practice
- If you share a waiver with a specific location selected, that location can override the default brand.
- If you share a generic waiver link with no location selected, organization-level branding is the main source.
- If display-name branding is blank, the public signing page may not show a brand name header at all.
Organization default
Acme Fitness
Used when no location override is present or when a generic link is shared.
Location override
Acme Fitness — Downtown
Used when the share flow is pointed at that location and the location has its own branding saved.
Recommended rule of thumb
- Keep organization branding broad and stable.
- Use location branding only when the public-facing brand truly differs by site.
- Test both a generic link and a location-selected link if branding is important to your flow.
