PDF Still Processing
What to do when a packet shows as signed but the PDF is not ready yet, including how long processing normally takes and when to follow up.
It is normal for a newly signed packet to spend a short time in a processing state while artifacts are generated in the background.
What to check
- Refresh the packet detail page after a short wait
- Check whether the signatures list still shows Processing
- Confirm that the packet exists and the signer completed submission successfully
Why this happens
The PDF is generated after the packet is stored. Until that background job finishes, the app will not show the final PDF download action.
If it lasts longer than expected
Use the packet detail page as your source of truth and confirm whether any artifacts have appeared. If not, escalate with the packet ID and signing time.
