Getting Started

Quick Start

Go from account setup to your first live waiver link with the shortest practical path. Covers creating a waiver, branding, and sharing.

This guide walks you from a new account to a live waiver link that you can copy, email, or turn into a QR code.

Before you begin

You will need:

  • access to your WaiverChaser account
  • an organization name saved in Settings > Account
  • at least one waiver created and published before sharing

Step 1: Set your organization name

Go to Settings > Account and save the organization name you want to use. This gives WaiverChaser a clean base organization name before you add display-name branding.

Step 2: Set your default organization branding

Go to Settings > Branding and add your default display name, logo, and primary color.

  • This branding is used on signing pages, PDFs, and receipt emails when no location override is set.

  • Logo and color customization depend on your plan.

  • See Set Up Organization Branding

Step 3: Create a location

Go to Locations and add your first location.

  1. Enter the location name.
  2. Choose the correct timezone.
  3. Save the location.
  4. Open the location details page to assign waivers and, if enabled on your plan, set location-level branding.

Step 4: Create your first waiver

Go to Waivers → Create Waiver.

  1. Choose a template or start blank.
  2. Give the waiver a name.
  3. Open the editor and review the starter copy.
  4. Turn on Allow minor participants if this waiver should support guardian + child signing.
  5. Save the waiver as a new version to publish it.

Step 5: Share the waiver

Once the waiver is published, open Share from the waiver list or waiver details screen.

You can:

  • copy a generic public link
  • select a location and copy a location-specific link
  • print the QR code
  • send the link by email from WaiverChaser if your plan includes request emails

What happens next

After the signer finishes:

  • a signature packet is created
  • the packet may briefly show Processing while artifacts are generated
  • a PDF receipt becomes available when processing finishes
  • the signer and business can receive follow-up email notifications
