Common Signing Questions
Quick answers to the most common business questions about the public signing flow, receipt emails, and what happens after a waiver is submitted.
Why does the form ask for date of birth?
The public signing flow uses date of birth as part of the standard participant information set, and it is also used to validate adult versus minor flows.
Why do I see “Myself” and “A minor / child”?
That choice only appears when the waiver version has Allow minor participants turned on.
Why can’t I share a waiver yet?
Only published waivers are shareable. If the share action is disabled, save the waiver as a new version first.
Why is the resend receipt button disabled?
The packet may still be waiting on its PDF artifact, or the packet may not have a signer email available for resend.
Where do I verify that someone already signed?
Go to Signatures and search by signer name or email, then open the packet detail page.
